BFIT Group of Institutions or BFIT, Dehradun was established by the shadow of Kartar Educational & Cultural Society in 2002 and is affiliated to H.N.B Garhwal Central University. BFIT has 3 campuses in the valley with 5000+ students. The institute offers UG, PG and Diploma Courses in the Disciplines of Science, Humanities, Law, Engineering and Management. The most popular courses of the institute include BA+LLB integrated program, B.tech across 5 specializations, B.Pharma, MCA, BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, MBA and BBA courses. Apart from that, BFIT also runs BA, MA, LLB, LLM, BHM, MHA, MPH, etc. Among the Diploma courses, the institute offers a Diploma in Polytechnic, D.Pharma and Diploma in Hotel Management courses. Admission is based on the candidate’s performance in the previous qualifying exam.

BFIT Admission Process

1. Admissions in all the courses of BFIT are done on the basis of merit list and Personal Interview.

2. Students have to apply for admission by filling out the online admission registration form.

3. Pay the application fee of INR 5000 online or by cash deposit in ICICI Bank. OR Pay the application fee through DD drawn in favor of “BFIT” payable at Dehradun. The application fee can also be paid through RTGS/ NEFT.

4. Selected students will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. The final Merit list is drawn on the basis of equal weightage to Class 12^th marks and Personal Interview Round.

Documents required for admission:

• 1. Class 10th and 12th Marksheets and Passing Certificate

  2. Graduation degree and Degree Certificate

  3. Scorecard of entrance exam taken by the candidate

  4. Category Certificate (if applicable)

  5. Govt. ID proof

  6. Passport sized photographs

Merit based Scholarships

Scholarship Based on AIBFEE Exam:

AIBFEE would be applicable for different courses on the basis of students’ rank. The first exam shall be conducted online. This is a worldwide exam that can be taken from home. No Registration fee is charged.

Scholarship depends on merit basis available for all Courses. There are four options:
Rank #1 cut-off of AIBFEE score.
Rank #2 cut-off of AIBFEE score.
Rank #3 cut-off of AIBFEE score.
Rank #4 cut-off of AIBFEE score.

Scholarship applicable for all courses will be as follow:
Above 95% – 60% on 1st year Tuition Fees
90% to 95% – 40% on 1st year Tuition Fees
80% to 90% – 30% on 1st year Tuition Fees
70% to 80% – 20% on 1st year Tuition Fees

Scholarship Based on Sports:

Following are the details of the Scholarship provided based on Performance in Sports/Games

1. Represented India in International Sports
- 100% scholarship on course fee
- Organized by National/ International sports Federation/ Association
- Eligibility: Represented India (approved by National sports Federation and Sports Authority of India/ Indian Olympic Association)

2. Represented States in National Sports
- 100% scholarship on course fee
- International Olympic Committee/Indian Olympic Association / Sports Authority of India.
- Eligibility: First, Second and Third Position in mentioned championship shall get the scholarship- All India Rural Sports Tournament/ All India University Championship/ National Women Sports Festival/ National championship conducted by Recognized National Sports Federations/ Zonal meet conducted by Recognized National Sports Federations.

BFIT Placements 2025

 The highest package in BCA is 8 lakh per annum and the average package is around 3.5 lakh per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is around 85 percent. My plan after is to do MCA.
