About Kanpur Institute of Technology-KIT Kanpur
Kanpur Institute of Technology (KIT) was established in 2004 by a team of IIT alumni in 2004. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) have both given their approval to the college. It is associated with the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Lucknow, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly known as the UP Technical University).The Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), of which KIT is a member.
KIT Kanpur Highlights 2025
KIT has its own skill development cell which organises collaborative training activities such as seminars and workshops, industrial training, guest lectures, etc. There are many industrial tours which are organised by KIT in all the academic sessions. KIT also has a tie-up with the renowned industry leaders such as HP, HCL, Wipro, CETPA, IBM, KOTAK Life Insurance, etc. for in house or off-campus technical training programmes. The college also conducts partially sponsored summer & winter training courses for the students.
