Merit based Scholarships
High potential students are rewarded by the institution with significant scholarships that partially or fully pay costs for the duration of the program. The 'Research and Teaching Assistantship' option gives graduate students the chance to dive deeper into their fields of study while also instructing undergraduates. Numerous benefits are provided to them, including scholarships, waivers of the hostel fees, and stipends. Gifted Student Scholarship
Outstanding academic rank holders are eligible for the Gifted Student Scholarship to attend Shiv Nadar University. The Scholarship winners are given direct admission to the chosen program. The following are the eligibility requirements:
- Top 100 ranked Grade 12 students in the ICSE, CBSE, and Cambridge Board of Education with IB grade points of 42 or higher
- Top 100 grade 12 scorers from different state education boards
- Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) JEE (Advanced) top 500 rank holders receive INSPIRE fellowship awards.
- Holders of a Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship (Only for Programs in the School of Natural Sciences)
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:
Students with intellectual potential and financial need are given support by the university. Students with a family income of less than INR 12, 00,000 per year and a grade 12 board exam score of 92% or higher.
Rural Scholarship:
For high-potential students from economically disadvantaged families, whose family income may be below INR 3,00,000 per year, SNU pays the whole cost of tuition and living expenses.
Sports Scholarship:
Shiv Nadar University awards champions or competitors at international, national, or state-level competitions in the corresponding sports or games that are recognized by national/international sports bodies up to 100% Sports Scholarship. To be eligible for a sports scholarship, candidates must pass the physical fitness test and any sport-specific exams administered by the university's department of physical education and sports.
