Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) was established in 2013 by the Government of Uttarakhand. SRHU offers over 60 courses in the areas of Management, Engineering, Medical Science, Yoga Practice and Technology at UG, PG and doctorate levels. The university has around 46 teaching departments with more than 3,000 faculty members. Additionally, it is a member of the American Heart Association and the Association of Indian Universities.

SRHU has been recognised as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation by the DSIR, Regional Centre for Medical Education by the MCI and Collaborative Centre for Cancer Research & Services by ICMR. The University has collaborations with universities across the globe, such as IIT Roorkee, IBM, IBC International Business School Denmark, Laurea University of Applied Sciences Finland, Rostock University Germany, etc.

SRHU Dehradun Admission Process

1. Candidates can apply online through the college website.

2. After registering themselves, they need to fill in the details and submit their application.

3. If the candidates are eligible, they will be contacted by the Admissions Cell for submission of fees and further procedures.

Merit based Scholarships

Merit Scholarship:
Candidates who are eligible for this scholarship will get scholarship upto 100% of tuition fees

Merit Cum Means Scholarship:
Candidates who are eligible for this scholarship will get scholarship upto 50% of tuition fees

Free-Ship Scholarship:
The scholarship provides Free education to one candidate in each academic program of the University who is an orphan

Special Scholarship:
Candidates who are eligible for this scholarship will get scholarship upto 100% of tuition fees for:
-Ward of Armed / Para Military / Police Force Personnel (Serving and Retd, Non-Commissioned Officer)
- Differently abled candidate
- Transgender

Fee Relaxation:- 25% Fee Concession for female candidate - B.Tech CSE
-26% Fee Relaxation for the students from Uttarakhand

Fee concession for students passed out from SRHU and joining next Higher Degree in the SRHU:

At the time of admission, onetime fee concession equivalent to 25% of the Tuition Fee of the First Year shall be applicable for one programme only for taking admission into next higher degree programme immediately after passing the eligible course.
